sk1es: No doesn’t mean no apparently.

dizzyclockwork: This is Artemis, a Quaker Parrot (a.k.a Monk Parakeet) belonging to a friend of mine. Caught him in mid-fluff when he was taking a bath… and then learned that holy cow birds are messier then I thought when water is involved. Still, he’s a cutie. :)

sk1es: My Quaker Parrot, Sasuke :)

the woman I bought sunshine from had a bunch of Quakers and one in particular was quite fond of the baby cockatiels.
so for the next two minutes, I’m going to kill your dash with cuteness

manateeparty: carlsbad danger, quaker parrot and avid lover of creative cussing and wasabi crackers.
Creative cursing? That’s awesome. :’D

supersonicblink: My three-year-old Quaker Parrot, Mya. She’s really cheeky and sits on this tap saying “food please for Mya” because it’s right in front of both the kitchen cupboard and the fridge… her nickname is ‘Junk Food Queen’ for a reason.

Pickle + *new* Sweet Pea! by SpooSpa on Flickr.

This darling little fluffbutt is my sweet sweet girl, Jitterbug the Quaker/Monk Parrot/Parakeet. Taken in May 2011 in the bird ward after a raccoon got into my house through the dog door and tore off her wing. She was doing very well at the time of the photo, but much to my everlasting heartbreak, after a month in the bird ward, she took a sudden turn for the worst the week she was supposed to come home. Rest in peace, my sweet tweet. Here’s to hoping your memory lives on through your ample fluff!
MOD: ;_____________________; rip Jitterbug!!
